iServ is Inov8's proprietary transaction management engine that connects to various network operators, payment gateways, switches, point of sale mediums, supply chains, distribution companies and product suppliers. It provides a complete transaction management suite from the very first point of acquiring the transaction request from the user to routing, authorizing, settlement and later on reconciliation processes. Powered by the most cutting edge technology stack, it is able to process over a billion transactions a month.

Transaction Switching and Commission Management

At the center of iServ are its transaction processing and switching capabilities. iServ can act as a complete switch (Channel > Financial > Service Providers) on its own, but can also integrate with utility and financial switches following ISO 8583/SWIFT/ACH protocols facilitating high availability switching and processing in both scenarios.

iServ caters comprehensively to commission management between and within multiple partner tiers. Payments settlements are automatically managed and distributed at the end of every reconciliation cycle (whether real-time or offline). iServ facilitates complete transparency in settling disputed transactions and identifying suspected fraudulent claims.

Utility Bill Payment Switch

iServ integrates, aggregates, directly and through third parties, with utility companies and service providers to maintain and send information about all bills paid on its POS network. Customers can choose to pay bills through their financial instrument of choice. Because of the modular and service oriented architecture (SOA) of iServ, through APIs and web-services, this integration requires minimal time and effort.

Once different services have been integrated, bill payment can begin immediately. A complete transaction record is available for all bills paid in real-time for reconciliation.

The utility switch can handle three types of payment types:
