Genie in Pakistan - the largest system integration activity across the country touching over 100 million unique users across dozens of various industry verticals.
The Genie service has been received in the Pakistani business arena with an overwhelming response across the board. We have a target market of over 30 million mobile subscribers. And with Mobilink, the largest mobile carrier in the region as our exclusive partner, the pilot program started in May of 2007 and now the service is running live integrated with multiple banks and service providers. Commercial launch accompanied with an aggressive marketing and consumer education drive is planned in the second quarter of 2008.
Systems Integration
Inov8 is undergoing the largest systems integration of its kind in Pakistan, in terms of connecting disparate systems that spread from financial switches, to core banking middleware, to public sector utility billing platforms to cellular networks, merchant CRM & ERPs, and converging them onto a single service delivery platform. The magnitude of the integration can be comprehended by the simple fact that we connect a base of over 100+ million unqiue users.
Research and Development
We have put to work our diverse expertise and knowledge base in various connectivity mediums in use by the masses today. These include technologies such as GPRS / EDGE, JAVA, USSD, 3G, WiFi, and 4G/WiMAX. Our continuous research and development activities have enabled us to quickly adapt to RFID wireless communication protocols developed for Near Field Communications for provisioning of our various wireless services. We have products in the pipeline that will leverage 3G/4G/NFC connectivity when it arrives in Pakistan.
To ensure that our clients are always ahead of the game, we as a rule invest great resources to research and develop new technologies, best practices, new markets and the opportunities that emerge as a consequence. We are advocates of benefits derived by virtue of moving in first in an untapped market before it is crowded by competitors and the profits fade away.
